The transformative impact of the various editions of this programme has not gone unnoticed. In fact, it has been internationally recognised and established as a key element in the development of sustainable communities. In 2023, in the third edition of the Go!ODS Awards, ENTAMA was recognised as the initiative that best contributes to the achievement of SDG 11: ‘Sustainable Cities and Communities’.
This award, given by the Spanish Network of the United Nations Global Compact, highlights the programme’s work in promoting more inclusive, sustainable and resilient communities, in line with the goals of the 2030 Agenda. An award that not only highlights the work of the programme, but also its firm commitment to equal opportunities, social inclusion and sustainability.
By promoting local employment and creating sustainable projects, especially in rural areas, ENTAMA is making a real difference in the business and social worlds. In addition, its commitment to women-led initiatives and projects that promote women’s employability reinforces its inclusive approach.
But the success of this initiative is not just measured in numbers. The testimonies of the Entamadores network confirm the tangible impact on the communities in which they operate. Many have been able to turn their ideas into viable and sustainable projects thanks to financial support, mentoring and access to the resources needed to make the leap into business. Projects that not only transform the local economy, but also have a strong social impact, helping to revitalise rural areas and create opportunities where they are most needed.
In the future, ENTAMA will continue to focus on innovation and sustainability in order to have a positive and lasting impact on the communities that need it most. In the coming editions, this programme will continue to consolidate its achievements and promote the transformation of the territories in which it operates.
