with the aim of supporting business initiatives that generate resources, employment and added value in our environment in a sustainable and forward-looking manner. It is part of EDP&#8217;s social commitment to the communities in which we are present. <\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c8ac80c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c8ac80c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The projects will be selected by EDP, according to the criteria of economic viability, sustainability, business generation prospects and other cross-cutting elements such as job creation, with a focus on female employability. Other aspects that will be taken into account range from hiring local suppliers, promoting the development of the municipality and\/or region, population fixation and the fight against depopulation, to the incorporation of new technologies and digitalisation. <\/p>\n<p>In its first four editions, more than 40 projects have already been selected with an investment of almost 500,000 euros.
